1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using Solvoto ("the App"), operated by Solvoto ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Solvoto is a mobile application that uses artificial intelligence to solve mathematical problems from photographs. The App provides:

• Camera-based math problem capture
• AI-powered problem solving via Google Gemini API
• Step-by-step solution explanations
• AI chat for follow-up questions about solutions
• Solution history with offline access

3. User Accounts

The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication. No personal information such as name, email, or password is required to create an account. Each session creates a unique anonymous identifier used solely to associate your solutions with your device.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and the data stored on it.

4. Free and Premium Tiers

Free users receive a limited number of problem solves. Premium subscriptions, when available, unlock unlimited solves. Pricing, subscription terms, and refund policies are governed by the applicable app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to:

• Use the App only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Not use the App to cheat on exams or violate academic integrity policies — the App is intended as an educational tool
• Not submit content that is illegal, harmful, or unrelated to mathematics

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, AI model integrations, and content, is the property of Solvoto. Solutions generated by the AI are provided for your personal educational use. You retain ownership of any images you capture using the App.

7. Third-Party Services

The App relies on the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage
• Google Gemini API — AI-powered math solving and chat

These services are governed by their own terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability or performance of third-party services.

8. Camera Usage

The App requires camera access to photograph math problems. Camera access is used exclusively for capturing math problems to solve. Images are processed through our servers and may be stored in your solution history.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated solutions. Solutions should be verified independently. The App is an educational aid, not a substitute for professional instruction.

10. Limitation of Liability

Solvoto shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App or our website.
